Tim Bowden’s career in television and film spans several decades of freelance work. Early credits include crew and field producer for ESPN, KGMB TV Hawaii, NHK and MotorWeek, MTV and Oceanic Time Warner Cable.
More recent works include writer for “The Flight of the Alala” a documentary short and writer and producer for “Tuna Wages – Fish, Money and Fa’a Samoa”, a half-hour PBS style documentary.
Tim’s current focus is on writing feature length films. His projects include
“Kiha Ku: Rise of the Gods” Feature length Supernatural Action Fantasy, set in Hawai’i, in re-write/development.
“The Spirit Weave” Feature length Supernatural Action Western, in development.
“Revelations” Feature length Sci-Fi Action in development.

Tim is a part-Hawaiian, raised on the island of Oahu. He is a graduate of the University of Hawai’i with a Bachelor of Arts degree with emphasis onTelevision Production, Writing and Hawaiian culture. His passions include writing, conservation, Hawaiian culture and sports. He enjoys reading about world history, archaeology and science and technology.
He is also currently at work on a Middle-Grade novel based on his script for “King Pet”. References available upon request.
